Located in Horie, Urayasu, Takaratei is a local favourite that pairs fair prices with generous portions of beef. From thick-cut, succulent Wagyu kalbi to flavorful lean fillet roast and tender salted beef tongue, the grilling menu offers plenty of variety.

Before loading up the grill, consider ordering the simmered beef (gyu-nikomi). Cooked down until fork-tender without feeling overly greasy, it is delicious on its own as a starter or spooned straight over a bowl of plain white rice.
